Year 6 Virtual Trip to Sulis and Bath

Last week both 6A and 6B had the opportunity to experience their trip to England albeit virtually.

27 may. 2020

They were all introduced to Nazi Rahim who is the house manager and responsible for making their trip truly memorable by organising every minute of their stay from the minute they arrive!

We started with a short tour around the splendid British Manor. Nazi gave us a brief description of the ample areas that the students can play or just sit and listen to the birds chirping and singing, admiring the vast views.

We then went into the manor and visited the sleeping accommodation, library, and dining room, giving the students a feel of how they would spend the time inside playing and learning.
The last part of the trip was a very quick tour of the city Bath. Quite surreal without the bustling shoppers and busy traffic, the norms of a city centre!

After the online virtual tour, the students were given a task to complete by visiting the Roman Baths and answering questions related to the historic site.

enlightenedDaniela from 6B quoted “This experience has been unique because we have been able to make a visit while in quarantine. It has been exciting!”

enlightenedCora from 6A quoted “I liked very much the online trip to England. The online museum was very fun and interesting, we could see the entire museum. I enjoyed a lot the videocall because we saw all the installations and we knew the things that we could do there!”

enlightenedBruno from 6B quoted “My virtual trip to Sulis Manor was very fun and complete. I loved seeing the buildings in Bath and the ancient Sulis Manor house. I loved it!”

enlightenedCarolina from 6A quoted “I really liked Bath in 3D because not to be there it was very well presented and well-focused on the shops and statues. I also really liked the video because the house is big with a nice garden and it is also a place that has many things not to bore you”.
