The students have been working on food choices. They had to decide what food they thought was good and bad for our teeth. They made a chart with their pictures.

Also the students investigated the function of the lungs by making a replica model of the lungs. The model recreates how the lungs work inflating and deflating the balloons as if they were the lungs.
Here are the comments from some of the students:
Miguel "We looked at lots of fruit and vegetables that are good for our teeth. I liked it because it was fun."
Tindaya "It's like the lungs. I liked it because the balloons got bigger and smaller."
Aaron "I like the respiratory system and the skeleton. We can see how we breathe."
