Having successfully progressed through the regional round in December, Raúl Santana Duarte, a pupil at Colegio Arenas Internacional, took part in the national round of the Model European Parliament (MEP) in Madrid from 14 to 16 March.

Over the past few days, Raúl has been engaging in discussions, sharing ideas and exchanging experiences with students from all over Spain, demonstrating his ability to engage in dialogue, think critically and show a commitment to the issues affecting young people.
Raúl summed up his experience as follows:
‘Taking part in the MEP has been a source of pride and an opportunity to show that young people have a voice, a mind of our own and a desire to make a difference. I’m very proud of what we achieved, but above all, of the experience itself and the people I met along the way.’
