Arenas International School, after successfully completing an environmental project focused on the knowledge and care of the seas, and after applying to the European Blue School Network, has achieved the BLUE SCHOOL CERTIFICATION: European Blue School. With this it becomes, together with Colegio Arenas Atlántico, the only schools in the Canary Islands with this accreditation.

This milestone is in addition to other initiatives carried out by Arenas, Arenas Atlántico and Arenas Internacional schools with the aim of contributing to the reduction of their carbon footprint. In this sense, they are also the only schools certified in Environmental Management, an accreditation renewed again after successfully passing the audit carried out in March; and they are part of ACADE's ECOCENTRES Network.
