Every year, taking on the challenge of learning a new language opens up first-class opportunities for our pupils. In May and June, nearly 200 pupils from Colegio Arenas Internacional demonstrated their commitment to linguistic excellence by sitting the official Cambridge English exams.

Covering the full spectrum of proficiency levels — from Young Learners (Starters, Movers and Flyers) through to PET (B1), FCE (B2), CAE (C1) and CPE (C2), the highest level — our pupils demonstrated extraordinary focus and ambition. To ensure that our candidates could perform to the best of their ability in a familiar setting, most of these sessions were held on our school’s premises.
On Friday 2 October 2026, our school community gathered to celebrate these achievements at our annual certificate presentation ceremony. Each certificate awarded represents consistent effort, active participation in the classroom and a genuine passion for mastering English — a key skill that is given high priority at every stage of education at Colegio Arenas Internacional.
The event brought together the pupils, their proud English teachers and the distinguished local representatives from Cambridge, Lisa Coleman and Lorena de Souza, to celebrate our pupils’ progress. Achieving fluency is an ongoing process, and seeing our pupils’ enthusiasm for continuing to push their boundaries is truly inspiring.
