Colegio Arenas Internacional held the closing ceremony for the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for Year 4 ESO pupils, a particularly significant occasion during which the students received their diplomas and presented the Personal Projects they had undertaken over the past academic year.

The event was marked by emotion and recognition of the students’ hard work throughout this stage of their education. The ceremony featured a piano accompaniment by Tommy Hansen, whose performance helped to create a solemn yet warm atmosphere.
During the event, students Martha Padrón Olsson and Ryan Jain Ascanio spoke on behalf of the entire year group, sharing a few words that reflected their classmates’ experiences, lessons learnt and personal journeys. This was followed by speeches from the school, which highlighted the commitment, dedication and personal growth demonstrated by the students throughout their time on the PAI.
Following the presentation of certificates, families were able to visit the Personal Projects exhibition, one of the programme’s most significant events. At the exhibition, pupils presented the results of their research and initiatives, explaining the objectives they had set, the process they had followed, the skills they had developed and the challenges they had overcome whilst working on their projects.
The event highlighted the students’ ability to tackle projects independently, thoughtfully and creatively, successfully bringing to a close a key stage in their academic and personal development.
