The PEP Exhibition is the culmination of an in-depth investigation with collaborative work, enquiry, reflection, creativity and good work by the students. Topics covered included media, symbols and signs, art, disability, lost languages, world cultures, emotions, animal-human communication, storytelling an
The students drew on a variety of digital sources, conducted interviews and generated knowledge by sharing their reflections and views. Through their research, they showed a strong commitment to society and human beings. At the conclusion of the project, the students shared their findings with their families, who appreciated the work they had done.
The PYP Exhibition began with a speech by the PYP Coordinator and students Alejandra Morera Ospina and Carlos Corisco Matallana, representing their 6th grade groups. The students then performed a choreographed and musical interpretation of the attributes of the IB profile. Afterwards, families visited the students' work, appreciating the dedication and effort reflected in the results.
Families expressed very positive comments, highlighting the organisation of the exhibition, the students' ability to work as a team and their ability to communicate their ideas.
The teachers congratulated the students for their involvement, motivation and effort throughout the process, preparing them for the next step in their education, the Middle Years Programme (MYP), which they will begin in September.
Congratulations to all the students for their excellent work and dedication!
