The facilities of the Arenas International School were once again transformed into a vast field of science, technology and humanities during the eighth edition of the "Route of Human Ingenuity".
14 jun. 2024
The open day, held on 13 June, was a great success. Numerous families, accompanied by teachers and students from the school, took part in this exhibition, following an ingenious route of knowledge through various spaces where projects, models, interactive games, laboratory practices, exhibitions and much more were on display.
The students demonstrated their ingenuity, creativity and research skills in various fields of knowledge, presenting their work in English, German and Spanish, and interacting with visitors in the activities scheduled for the day.
The tour of the different areas of the Arenas International School provided unique experiences. The main events included the "Aula del Mar" in the Arts and Sciences Pavilion, which hosted works related to this theme, and the History and Mathematical Works exhibitions in the Patio de Palmeras. In addition, the exhibition and sale of products from the 6th year Primary School students (International Baccalaureate Primary School Programme) as part of the "Small Entrepreneurs" project was also a highlight.
In the laboratories, projects such as animal models made from recycled material were presented, and various physics, chemistry and biology exercises were carried out. In the Infant Education playgrounds, parents interacted with their children in different games and workshops. The primary school pavilions were the setting for experiments and interactive activities, while in secondary school, visitors were able to take part in a variety of activities and visit the literary and painting exhibitions, as well as the historical and artistic works produced by secondary and high school students.
The students were very involved, guiding the visitors and brilliantly explaining the different projects on display. The families, who attended the event in large numbers, were very involved, interacting with their children in the games and projects prepared. They praised the high quality and organisation of the exhibition, as well as the preparation of the students. All these ingredients have once again made this open day an unforgettable experience. Congratulations!
